Multiple Sclerosis

Multiple Sclerosis (MS) is a chronic autoimmune disorder of the central nervous system (CNS), characterized by inflammation, demyelination, and axonal degeneration. CD20 a key therapeutic target in MS, is predominantly expressed on B cells and a minor subset of CD20+ T cells. Additionally, CD20 expression has been identified in recently characterized dual expressor (DE) cells. Our research focuses the role of DE cells in MS-associated neuroimmune dysregulation, with the goal of developing targeted immunotherapeutic strategies to modulate disease pathophysiology.
