  • December 17, 2024 – We just received word that our paper “PDGFRα reporter activity identifies periosteal progenitor cells critical for bone formation and fracture repair” published in Bone Research has won the 2022-2023 Outstanding Paper Award! Congrats to Jiajia Xu, Yiyun Wang and all authors!
  • December 11, 2024 – We are extremely proud to announce that Mingxin Ashby has been chosen to receive a young investigator award to attend the AIMM-ASBMR John Haddad Young Investigators Meeting being held April 7-11, 2025, in Snowmass, Colorado!

  • April 20, 2023 – The James lab is thrilled to announce that Vivian Zhong has been offered a PhD position in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Pennsylvania! We wish Vivian the best of luck in this next chapter of her academic career. We are very excited for her and will miss her presence in the lab.
